I paid the artist Joseph Stashkevetch a studio visit last week and was blown away by his new work. Joseph is known for his exquisitely realistic conté crayon drawings - yes, these are all done free-hand! His interest in beauty, transience, destruction, and decay is shown in images that include dilapidated architecture, refuse piles, and flowers. His most recent work - the last two images included here - has become sculptural, composed of multi-layered drawings that curve and undulate. If you're interested in considering Joseph's work for your home, please get in touch!
