I was so excited to open the New York Times Magazine this weekend and see gorgeous photographs by David Benjamin Sherry! He's a fantastic artist, and one of my favorites to place in client homes. Sherry produces his super-saturated color landscapes with traditional, analog photography techniques, and his imagery also sometimes recalls the work of earlier photographers like Ansel Adams. In other instances, he captures a zoomed in picture in which the natural forms dissolve into abstraction. For me, his awesome, colorful palette may be the primary draw -- they dazzle on a white wall.
