Favorite of the Week - Valentine's Day Edition: Gustav Klimt

Everyone loves flowers, particularly on February 14th! And, the hot lot in Sotheby's London Spring Impressionist sale is an amazing Gustav Klimt floral landscape that was first exhibited in 1908. The lush field includes poppies and zinnias in a triangular formation that recalls Klimt's perhaps better-known portrait paintings like The Kiss. It is estimated that the picture will sell in the $45 million range. If that's over your budget, please get in touch -- I have great ideas at many price points.  I love the idea of receiving a bouquet that lasts forever. Why not give your sweetheart art this year for Valentine's Day?
