Favorite of the Week: Paul Anthony Smith

Every Monday, I post my favorite piece I saw the previous week. This week: Paul Anthony Smith uses a technique called picotage – tiny folded tears in the surface on the image – to create gorgeous geometric patterning on the surface of his portrait and landscape photographs. If you would like to see more of his work, please let me know – he has a fantastic show on view at ZieherSmith through February 4.
